Mass spectrometry

This service has the main mission analysis by mass spectrometry of molecules very various: organic, organometallic, inorganic, oligosaccharides, proteins, oligonucleotides, peptides, trace compounds...

The equipment available in the service of mass spectrometry is in this day of 7 mass spectrometers. These devices are complementary, they allow to satisfy most requests for analyses.

  • Spectromètre TSQ9000 (ThermoFisher)
Analyzes in GC/MS coupling in electron impact at low resolution. It can be coupled to a pyrolyzer, and allows MS/MS and quantification thanks to its high sensivity.
    Service masse spectro
  • GCT Premier (Waters) (spectromètre de masse haute résolution)
EI and DCI methane in direct introduction and coupling GC/MS: determination of exact masses (Spécif : 5ppm).
Ability to analyze air-sensitive compounds thanks to an assembly allowing the sample to be deposited under Argon
    spectromètre de masse
  • UPLC Xevo G2 Q TOF (Waters) (spectromètre de masse haute résolution)
electrospray LC/MS and LC/MS/MS coupling and direct introduction: determination of exact masse, structural analysis, … (Specif : 3ppm).
    Service masse spectro
  • Q TRAP 4500 ABSciex et U HPLC Ultimate 3000 Dionex
equipped with an Electrospray (ESI) and an Atmospheric Pressure Chemical Ionization (APCI) sources. Possibility of analyses up to m/z 2000, MS/MS (fragment, precursor ions and neutral loss), MS3, LC/MS, LC/MS/MS and determination. Very high sensitivity enhanced by on-line preconcentration..
    Service masse spectro
  • Q TOF Premier + HPLC Alliance 2695 (Waters)
Possibility of working in direct intro or in LC/MS coupling, in low or high resolution (Specif: 5ppm). Source : Electrospray.
    Service masse spectro
  • Spectromètre de masse DSQ II (Thermo Fisher Scientific)
Mass spectrometer equipped with electron impact (EI) and chemical ionization (IBD NH3) sources analysis to the 1000 low-resolution mass; ability to analyze air-sensitive compounds thanks to an assembly allowing the sample to be deposited under Argon.
    Service masse spectro
  • Spectrometers Q TRAP 2000 (Applied Biosystems) equipped Electrospray (ESI) and Atmospheric Pressure Chemical Ionization (APCI) sources. Possibility of analyses up to m/z 1700, MS/MS (fragment, precursor ions and neutral loss), MS3, LC/MS, LC/MS/MS and determination.
